Regional Security

Peace and stability are prerequisites for development. WACSOF collaborates with ECOWAS and civil society to address regional security challenges such as terrorism, organized crime, and communal conflicts. Our focus includes strengthening community resilience, promoting reconciliation, and supporting the deployment of peacekeeping forces where necessary.

We also work to address the root causes of insecurity, such as poverty, inequality, and governance deficits. By advocating for inclusive security frameworks and facilitating dialogue among stakeholders, WACSOF aims to build a peaceful and secure West Africa where citizens can thrive.
