Position Overview:
WACSOF is seeking a committed and organised Volunteer Assistant Program Coordinator to join our programs team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about development and civil society to gain hands-on experience while contributing to impactful initiatives. The Volunteer Assistant Program Coordinator will support program planning, implementation, and coordination efforts, helping to ensure the smooth execution of WACSOF’s projects and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and organising WACSOF’s programs, events, and workshops.
  • Coordinate with team members, partners, and stakeholders to maintain project schedules.
  • Help prepare program materials, reports, and relevant documentation.
  • Provide administrative support, including managing communications and scheduling.
  • Contribute to program monitoring and evaluation processes.
  • Attend virtual meetings and support follow-up actions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain deadlines.
  • Interest or background in civil society, program management, or international development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other project management tools is a plus.
