Position Overview:
WACSOF is seeking an innovative and strategic Volunteer Digital Strategist to support our digital presence and enhance engagement with online audiences. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop digital strategy skills while directly contributing to the success of WACSOF’s outreach and advocacy efforts. The Volunteer Digital Strategist will work closely with our communications team to develop, implement, and refine digital campaigns that align with WACSOF’s mission and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to increase WACSOF’s online visibility and engagement.
- Manage and optimize content on WACSOF’s website and social media channels.
- Conduct SEO research and implement strategies to improve WACSOF’s search engine rankings.
- Analyse digital analytics and metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the communications team to produce targeted content that resonates with WACSOF’s audience.
- Stay informed of trends in digital strategy, advocacy, and civil society engagement.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and social media strategies.
- Proficiency in SEO, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and content management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with civil society and international development is an advantage.
- Experience with graphic design and multimedia tools is a plus.
